The first 30 seconds saw an intensive melee with a number of players fighting for control of the ball! Intense electricity was felt by the crowd as the two teams fought it out at high pace resulting in a fast goal by Jason Friedman for SOCO in the second minute of the game. SOCO went on to take honours in the first half with one of the most exciting goals of the tournament - Thai Elephant Polo Star, Kh Tawasak was leaning ¾ of the way down his elephant to score a truly stunning goal.
The second chukker saw the most intriguing battle of wits and precision flying strikes between Kristjan Edwards for the WEPA Legends and Kh Tawasak, which resulted in Edwards taking the score to a reasonable 5:3!
PricewaterhouseCoopers fought back bravely and nearly converted two penalties that would have drawn the match even, but it was not to be. The game ended with a consolation goal by PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Tim Edwards as the gong rang. |
